Our History

Mediterranean Shipping Company (Hong Kong) Limited (MSC HK) was established in 1996. It is the wholly owned ship agency of MSC S.A. in the People's Republic of China.

Though it is a relatively new establishment, the rapid growth of MSC HK in the previous years has been remarkable, in terms of both the increase in container throughput handled, and the expansion in human resources.

Currently MSC HK operates a total of 24 agencies and terminals offices in the People's Republic of China. And has 300 dedicated professionals. There are offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Zhongshan, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Ningbo and Beijing. The regional Headquarters is located in Hong Kong.

We provide a full spectrum of quality agency services to MSC S.A., including but not limited to, sales & marketing, documentation, vessel operations, equipment control, accounting, training and quality control.

 

Currently we provide import and export services to / from the region of Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea, Adriatic Sea, Scandinavia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, North & South America, the Middle East, South Asia and the Southeast Asia. Every week there are more than 13 vessels sailing / arriving at the region.

The professional service level of MSC HK remains high and we strive to continuously improve this with ongoing reviews of our services and procedures. Indeed, since, all offices of MSC HK are ISO 9001 certified by the Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
